STEINWAY TEACHER & EDUCATIONAL PARTNER PROGRAMME

 Mrs Aileen Zhang has been teaching aspiring young pianists from beginner-level through to advanced for more than 17 years. Mrs Zhang believes in the value that music education and appreciation provide our next generation, and has first-hand experience with how it enriches and enables young people to achieve great success across all elements of their life. 

All Mrs Zhang’s students are encouraged to participate in exams, competitions, concerts and music festivals. A particular highlight for all Mrs Zhang’s students are the opportunities they receive to perform on the renowned Steinway & Sons piano in the Lewis Eady Steinway NZ Showroom in Auckland.  

Many of Mrs Zhang’s students have passed ABRSM Examinations with Distinction, won numerous prizes at both national and international competitions; a list which includes her talented daughter Amelia. At just 6 years of age, Amelia has already showcased her talent on the national and international stage, receiving numerous awards and excellent ABRSM exam results. 

Whilst not every student would like to become a professional musician, Mrs Zhang believes it is important that each student has the opportunity to shine on stage, and receives soul-enriching experiences that will further assist in the development of a strong relationship they will have with music, and that will last their lifetime.
